We built Kronvis with security-first architecture. Your financial data is encrypted, isolated, and never shared.
AES-256-GCM Encryption
Every sensitive field — names, emails, account details, descriptions — is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with per-user encryption keys. Even if the database were breached, your data remains unreadable.
Secure Password Hashing
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt at cost factor 12. We never store or have access to your plaintext password. Optional TOTP two-factor authentication adds another layer of protection.
Per-User Data Isolation
Every database query is scoped to your user ID. There is no cross-user data access. Your financial data is completely isolated from every other user on the platform.
Rate Limiting & Input Validation
Authentication endpoints are rate-limited to prevent brute force attacks. All inputs are validated server-side with strict schemas. Database queries use parameterized statements — no SQL injection possible.
No Trackers, No Ads, No Data Brokers
Kronvis does not use analytics trackers, advertising networks, or data brokers. Your data is used solely to power the app's features and is never sold or shared with third parties.
Full Data Portability & Deletion

Is Kronvis really free?
Yes. The core app — income and expense tracking, forecasting, analytics, export, multi-currency support — is free and always will be. In the future, advanced features like automatic bank syncing and AI-powered insights may require a small subscription, but the base product will remain free.
How is my data secured?
Your data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with per-user encryption keys. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We offer optional TOTP two-factor authentication, rate-limit authentication endpoints, and validate all inputs server-side. Every database query is scoped to your user ID — there is no cross-user data access.
Do you sell my data?
Never. Kronvis does not use analytics trackers, advertising networks, or data brokers. Your data is used exclusively to power the app and is never sold, shared, or monetized in any way.
Can I export my data?
Absolutely. You can export your transactions as CSV or your complete account data as JSON at any time from Settings. Your data is always portable and always yours.
What currencies are supported?
Kronvis supports over 20 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CHF, INR, BRL, and many more. You can switch your display currency at any time from Settings.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes. One-click account deletion from Settings permanently removes your user account, all financial records, and any uploaded receipt files. There are no hidden backups or retained copies.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. Kronvis works entirely with manual entry. You add your income sources, expense categories, and log transactions yourself. This gives you full control and means we never need your bank credentials.
